Availability of conference materials cannot be guaranteed for persons making payment at the venue. Registration ends 30 April 2020. Payments received after this date will be subject to a surcharge/additional $50 administrative fee. If you register by bank transfer, please ensure you clearly write your name as it appears in your passport as your reference. Bring along with you the proof of payment to the venue of the conference.

 

Registrations and profile updates for speakers and award recipients must be completed by 31 December 2019 to ensure inclusion in the WAF 2020 and Awards conference booklet.

 

Participants are responsible for their transport, tours, and accommodation. However, official logistics, accommodation, and transport partners of WAF 2020 and Awards can assist upon request. Note that administrative fee to the agents applies. Contact us for details.

On the occasion of the 2020 Women Advancement Forum   I WAF & Awards taking place on 03 - 07 may, 2020 in New York City, NY, we are pleased to invite nominations for the 5th WAF-Think Gender Awards 2020 from the private and public sectors, NGOs, women in business/entrepreneurs, professional/career women, wife of public office holders, and women in politics.

 

The WAF-Tribute Award and WAF-Think Gender Award programs recognize, celebrate, and honor achievements in socio-economic and political empowerment, advancement of women, as well as inspire and motivate young women/girl-child. This award has a unique value; therefore offers the opportunity to honor distinguished women from around the world.

 

 

A total number of 10 awardees for WAF-Think Gender Award (SDG) and 5 WAF-Tribute Awards will be accepted. It's on a first come first serve basis. Late nominations will not be accepted.

 

Note that the organizers and their agents (selection and accreditation panel) reserve the right to approve any nominee for the award. Nominees are required to register formally for the conference; the nomination must reach the organizers not later than 31 December 2019. The award is FREE of charge; however, recipients will be required to register to attend the conference and receive their awards.
